Varicose Vein Treatments

Varicose veins are swollen and enlarged veins that usually occur on the legs and feet. They may be blue or dark purple, and are often lumpy, bulging or twisted in appearance.
They are not very pretty as we know and as we live on the Costa del Sol, year round sunshine means we are often enough in shorts and dresses. So if you suffer from varicose veins and want to get the flawless legs you deserve, Reisbeck Medical is here to help!
Sclerotherapy
In this procedure, we inject small and medium-sized varicose veins with a special fluid or foam that scars and closes those veins. The procedure may be repeated several times, depending on the severity and the amount of the spider nevi present. In general, one session takes about 30 minutes.

We recommend wearing medical high-grade compression stockings for a few days after the injections to improve the success rate. Also, no sun exposure is allowed after the initial treatment for at least 2 weeks.
Swollen Legs
Automatic Lymphatics/Venous Drainage
While there is currently no cure for leg swelling caused by lymphedema, automatic lymphatics/venous drainage can help. Using a specific inflatable device we will massage the extra fluid from your legs and remove it through the venous and renal system. This is recommended for all medical conditions causing your legs to swell, of course this will only be conducted after a thorough evaluation of the cause of the swelling.
In summer, due to the heat it is also common for our ankles and legs to swell. Our automatic drainage system can reduce swelling by at 1cm in diameter!
